The
drive along Interstate 25 between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs passes through
some of the most beautiful countryside in America; a landscape which encompasses
broad open grasslands, rolling hills, rocky breaks and breathtaking views of the
Colorado Rockies crowned by Pike's Peak. The area provides important and outstanding
habitat for every form of wildlife, including deer, antelope, elk, bighorn sheep,
black bear and mountain lion. These lands on both sides of the Interstate run
for 12 miles, comprising 35,000 acres, all of which have now been protected from
development forever, thanks to the efforts of The Conservation Fund and its partners
via the I-25 Conservation Corridor Initiative.
The
new set of lithographs will reflect the unique and beautiful qualities of this
enormous tract of now protected near-wilderness land. The Greenland Series will
consist of three original lithographs: one twenty-two by thirty-four inches, and
two lithographs sixteen by twenty inches. Edition size of each will be three hundred,
seventy-five signed and numbered pieces. The
Greenland Series is available exclusively at Angler Art. Please call the gallery
and we will be happy to reserve a set for you, and also answer any questions you
may have.
